Getting started
1. Create an account on this website and confirm the e-mail.
2. Download the game and the Eldritch Launcher.
3. Start the launcher, choose the Official server, log in with your account name and password.
4. Create a character: Light (Human, Elf) or Fury (Vail, Deatheater), then choose the mode (Easy, Normal, Hard or Ultimate).
The launcher
The launcher checks and downloads updates before every start, then logs you in with a one-time token. If an update fails, press Repair: it checks every file of the game folder.
The launcher also switches the optional Graphics+ on or off.
Runes
Runes are socketed like lapis. There are 35 runes with different stats; higher runes drop in The Void and from bosses. The Wind rune can only be put into boots.
Enchanting up to +30
Enchant weapons and armour with the usual enchant items up to +30. The higher steps give the item a glowing effect that grows with every step.
The Void (level 90 zone)
The Void is the end-game map for level 90 characters. Eight bosses guard it; the main boss Nyx'Zareth respawns every hour and drops the L90 capes. The respawn times are on the Boss timers page of this website.
FAQ
Is the server free?
Yes. Everything in the game can be reached by playing. Donations are optional.
Which client do I need?
Only our client from the Download page. Other Shaiya clients do not work with this server.
I did not get the confirmation e-mail
Wait a few minutes and check the spam folder. The link works for 24 hours; after that simply register again with the same name and e-mail.
I forgot my password
Use Forgot password on the login page. You get a link that works for 1 hour.
My account is locked
After 5 wrong passwords the account is locked for 15 minutes in the game and on the website. Wait, or reset the password by e-mail.
What is the test server?
A second server where new patches are tested before they go live. It is open only while a test runs, and access is by invitation.
